Casa Pacifica’s Training Institute offers professional development for our staff, families and caregivers of our youth, mental health providers and the public. We provide year-round seminars and workshops featuring experts in mental health and wellness in addition to first aid, CPR and AED training.

Continuing Education
Casa Pacifica provides continuing education credits (CEUS) and training to licensed clinical social workers, licensed marriage and family therapists and psychologists. We are an approved continuing education provider for:
- California Department of Social Services (CDSS) Group Home and STRTP Administrator Recertification
- California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT)
- American Psychological Association (APA)

CPR/First Aid/AED Training
Casa Pacifica is an approved provider of Adult CPR/AED, Child CPR and First Aid through the American Red Cross. The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies to assist adults and children including burns, cuts and sudden illnesses; head, neck and back injuries; heat and cold emergencies; and respiratory and cardiac emergencies. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

Schools and Child-Serving Organizations
Consultation
Casa Pacifica provides training and technical assistance to schools and child-serving organizations who want positive and practical skills to support the children and families they serve. Consultation topics include: school and organizational culture, problem-solving and conflict resolution, staff development and supervision, child and youth care certification and more.
