Mission Statement

The Amigos sponsor events and activities for the children at Casa Pacifica.  By accessing the bountiful resources of the community, The Amigos bring a wide variety of activities that include careers, skills, hobbies and sports. As a part of the events, the Amigos strive to impart values and fundamental life skills in preparation for successful adult living.

What is it like to be an Amigo? “Spending time with these kids has been both hard and easy but always enjoyable. Seeing their smiles when you are around them is great, trying to understand what some of them have been through at such an early age is heartbreaking. Being an Amigo is a unique experience. The Amigos are all volunteers and everyone can bring their ideas to life. If you have a vision for how to help Our Kids, the Amigos can make it happen! Do you want to share your passion for photography? Computers? Cars? Poker? Whatever it is, you can share it! Not only do you have opportunities to work with amazing kids, but you also become part of a very dedicated, friendly, and fun group of people who all care about Our Kids.
