Typical Duties of Child Care Staff

Child Care Counselors take care of all activities of daily living for children. Depending on the shift, counselors generally have a caseload of 3 to 5 children, and assist the children with homework, groups and huddles, therapeutic activities, outings, behavior management, social time, hygiene prompts, etc..

Clinician Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish). Clinician is responsible for developing Safety and Family Recovery Plans, conducting assessments, and supporting Children’s Intensive Response staff. He/she will also manage a caseload of assigned clients as necessary.
Qualifications Qualified candidates will be RN/Psy Tech/MFT/MFCC/LCSW/PhD./PsyD. CA licensed, with minimum of 3 yrs exp working with SED youth doing family assessments and treatment, behavior management.
Cottage/Area Children's Intensive Response Team-Ventura County
Wages $26hr./$50k -$55K annually
Hours/Schedule PT/On-call/Per Diem or Full Time - 4/10 shifts, rotating on call

Crisis Care Specialist II (Bi-lingual English/Spanish)
Qualifications Qualified candidates will have a 2-4 years experience & MA & license eligible with 1 year experience in related field with at risk youth and family in crisis. Assist in implementing crisis plans & provide follow up services. Bilingual+.

Licensed Psychologist
Qualifications Licensed registered Ph.D. or Psy.D. with five to six years experience working with severely emotionally disturbed adolescents doing family assessments and treatment, and behavior management. Responsibilities include providing and implementing individual, group and family therapy for adolescents within a multi-disciplinary treatment team environment and supervising interns and post doctoral fellows. Position also involves liaison activities with placement agencies, mental health and child protective services. Will work with youth in a cognitive behavioral setting, assisting in the development of family based programs. Case managment experience a plus. Bilingual preferred.
Cottage/Area Residential Treatment Program
Wages $65,000.00-$70,000.00 D.O.E.
Hours/Schedule Monday-Friday flexible schedule with rotating on-call.
